Francisco Trincão is the first forward chosen to feature in the Liga Portugal Betclic Team of the Season, voted by the competition's head coaches and captains.

The Portuguese international played 34 matches for Sporting CP in the 2025-26 edition of the competition, starting 32 of them. Throughout the season, he scored seven goals and provided 10 assists, the league's second-best record in the category.

In addition to his influence in Sporting CP’s attack, Trincão also stood out for his ability to react after losing possession, recording 72 ball recoveries over the course of the season. His consistent performances also earned him the Forward of the Month award in November.

At 26 years old, the Lions' number 17 now joins teammates Maxi Araújo and Hjulmand, as well as FC Porto's Diogo Costa, Bednarek, Kiwior, Alberto Costa and Froholdt, and SC Braga's Zalazar in the Team of the Season.
