In his first season in Portugal, the Dragons' centre-back proved to be a key name in Farioli's defensive line, starting all 26 matches in which he was an option and playing 2433 minutes, recording 126 ball recoveries and an assist.

After Diogo Costa, the number is the scond FC Porto player to be named in the 2025-26 Team of the Season, alongside Sporting CP's Maxi Araújo.
