Four games, four goals. March was a standout month for Rio Ave FC's Jalen Blesa and the Liga Portugal Betclic head coaches chose him as the competition's Player of the Month, after already being named the Continente Forward of the Month.

Starting all four matches played by Rio Ave FC during the period under review, the 25-year-old Spanish forward played a decisive role in the Vila do Conde side’s unbeaten run. He scored four goals, all with a direct impact on the results: netting a brace in the win over Estrela Amadora (2-1) and scoring the goals that secured victories against CD Tondela (1-0) and Estoril Praia (2-1), while also featuring in the draw against FC Famalicão (0-0).

With 18.18% of the votes, Blesa finished ahead of Luis Suárez (Sporting CP) and Rodrigo Zalazar (SC Braga), both with 14.14%, but the Colombian forward edged the tie-break over the Uruguayan midfielder, having played 184 minutes compared to 196.
