The February Goal of the Month came from Geny Catamo's left foot, scored in the 56th minute in Sporting CP's trip to Moreirense FC's home ground, in matchweek 23 of Liga Portugal Betclic.

The Lions' number 10 came through the right wing and, from the edge of box, fired a strong and precise left-footed shot to the far post. The ball found the top corner, giving goalkeeper Mika no chance to save it, in a moment that brought the Estádio Parque Desportivo Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas to its feet.

In the vote, the fans chose the Mozambican winger's moment of inspiration as the best goal scored in the competition in the month of February, finishing ahead of the competition from teammate Luis Suárez, as well as of SC Braga's Zalazar, Diogo Travassos and Rodri Alonso, both Moreirense FC players, and SL Benfica's Rafa.
