At Parque Desportivo Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas, 5,518 spectators, representing a 90% occupancy rate, watched the Matchday 14 fixture of Liga Portugal Betclic between Moreirense FC and SL Benfica, which ended in a 4-0 victory for the visitors.

SL Benfica opened the scoring through the usual suspect, Pavlidis, who headed home in the 36th minute in Moreira de Cónegos. In the second half, the Greek striker doubled his tally with a strike from the edge of the area that found the back of the net. In the 70th minute, Pavlidis intercepted a pass inside the box and calmly finished to complete his hat-trick and make it 3-0.

Fredrik Aursnes also intercepted an opposition pass in the 76th minute and chipped the ball over the goalkeeper to seal the final 4-0 scoreline.

With this result, SL Benfica move on to 32 points in Liga Portugal Betclic, while Moreirense FC remain on 20 points.
