Sporting CP hosted and defeated AFS 6-0 this Saturday in matchweek 14 of Liga Portugal Betclic, a game played at the Estádio José Alvalade.

After a goalless half hour, the Lions netted three goals in five minutes, with Luis Suárez, Maxi Araujo and Geny Catamo sealing a comfortable lead at half-time. In the second half, the Colombian striker and the Uruguayan and Mozambican wingers all scored again, setting the final score.

The Lions return to victories and shorten the gap to leader FC Porto to two points, with the Dragons stepping onto the pitch on Monday to face Estrela Amadora, in the closing match of the round.

AFS suffer their third consecutive defeat in Liga Portugal Betclic and remain bottom of the table with only three points, being the only team who hasn't won in the competition.
