João Neves wins the VITO Midfielder of the Month for the third time in a row

The Reds' player beat off the competition of João Marques (Estoril Praia) and Morita (Sporting CP)

After winning the same accolade for September and October/November, João Neves snatches the "hat-trick" and wins once again the VITO Midfielder of the Month in Liga Portugal Betclic, this time referring to the month of December.

The 19-year-old started all four games with SL Benfica during the period in question, having been one of Roger Schmidts key players, where the Reds registered triumphs against FC Famalicão (3-0) and SC Braga (1-0), and draws against Moreirense FC (0-0) and SC Farense (1-1).

The midfielder racked up 23,93% of the votes from the head managers of the competition, thus surpassing João Marques (Estoril Praia), with 19,66%, and Morita (Sporting CP), with 10,26%.
