The Casa Pia AC forward received his Player of the Month award, as well as his Burger King award for Best Forward of the Month for October and November

October and November were the months of Jota. The Casa Pia AC 22-year-old player won the Player of the Month and Burger King Best Forward of the Month in Liga Portugal SABSEG awards, after racking up a total of 27,78% and 29,17%, in the respective votes, by the head managers of the competition.

When receiving the trophies, the striker thanked his teammates, extending the recognition to the whole Casa Pia AC structure, while anticipating a great future for the club.

"The secret here is hard work. Not only mine but the whole team and the whole structure of the club. These awards are individual, but I couldn't win them if my teammates didn't help me", he started saying.

"We work hard during the week to achieve success on matchdays and improve our individual records. It is an extra motivation that bears even more responsibility to always do more and better", he concluded.

Truly decisive at the attacking front, Jota proved to be essential in the good results achieved after scoring five goals (consecutively) in the six matches played during this period, thus helping Casa Pia AC secure four triumphs and two draws.

In the vote for Player of the Month in Liga Portugal SABSEG, the Portuguese striker surpassed Henrique Araújo (SL Benfica B), who finished second with 18,75%, while Paulo Bernardo, also a player from the Reds, came third with 14,58% of the votes.
