Moreirense FC claim their second triumph

Moreirense FC claimed, this Sunday, their second triumph in the current season of Liga NOS, after beating Marítimo M., by 2-1, in Parque Desportivo Comendador Joaquim de Almeida Freitas.

The goal scored by the 'cónegos' were both scored in the first half of the fixture, with the new arrival Felipe Pires getting the upper hand in the scoreboard in the 21st minute. The scoreboard would change once again right before the end of the first half, with Pedro Nuno (45+2) concluding in the best possible way a quick counter-attack. Zainadine would still reduce the disadvantage to the Madeiran team in the 89th minute. However, this goal would end up not being enough for them to avoid the defeat. 

This triumph enables the team coached by Ricardo Soares to move up to the fourth position, with 8 points. The Madeirans, in turn, are now in the nineth place, with a total of six points.
