Vitória SC return to winning ways

In the opening fixture of Matchweek 21 of the Liga NOS, Vitória SC hosted and defeated Boavista FC by 2-1 at Estádio D. Afonso Henriques.

The team under manager Jesualdo Ferreira opened the scoring in the 17th minute through R. Mangas. The hosts would the level the match in the 39th minute thanks to Rochinha's effort. In the second half, André André turned the scoring around through the conversion of a penalty-kick and seal the triumph for Vitória SC.

All in all, the team from Guimarães are now on 35 points, while Boavista FC stay on 18 points.
