The 3rd Open Day for Competitions took place this Wednesday at the Arena Liga Portugal, an event that has become a pre-season tradition, bringing together 25 Sports Societies and more than 100 participants, both in person and via videoconference, in an initiative that lays the foundation for the upcoming season.

The kickoff was given by Paulo de Mariz Rozeira, Executive Director of Liga Portugal, who opened the working session, followed by a summary of last season's professional competitions and main points for improvement for the 2025-26 season.

The Club Portal and the Transfer Platform, under the responsibility of the Technology Department, the Contract Registration, overseen by the Legal Department, and the new training programs from Liga Portugal Business School also joined the lineup, in a morning that concluded with the presentation of the Communication Department's content strategy and the initiatives developed by Marketing, as well as the new projects for Fan Experience and Ticketing.

During the break, a lunch took place, providing an opportunity for sharing and networking, followed by a tour of the Arena Liga Portugal building, where participants had the chance to see every corner of the home of Professional Football.

Lastly, before the final whistle of this 3rd Open Day, focus was placed on the changes and updates to the Regulations of the Competitions organized by Liga Portugal, as well as the current regulatory models, in order to outline the guiding principles for the start of the 2025-26 season.
