With two goals in the space of six minutes during the first half, FC Porto came out on top against Boavista FC (2-1) in the Invicta city derby this Sunday at Estádio do Bessa Sec. XXI.

With the win in the final match of matchday 33 — the penultimate round of Liga Portugal Betclic — the Dragons move to 68 points, getting very close to securing third place, which grants access to the UEFA Europa League. They now hold a three-point lead over direct rivals SC Braga and also have the advantage in goal difference.
