At Liga Portugal, the Statutes and Regulation are guidance to the companionship among everyone within the structure of professional football in Portugal.

Statutes

The Statutes were approved at the Liga's General Assembly on July 7, 2015, amended at the Liga's General Assembly of February 07, 2017, and September 25, 2017, and fundamentally establish the purposes pursued by Liga Portugal, the rights and duties of its associates, its corporate bodies and respective jurisdictions.

General Regulations

The General Regulations were approved at the Liga’s General Assembly, on the 5th of December, 1989. In accordance with what it is laid down in the Statutes, it sets the disciplinary mechanisms of the Liga's activities through its internal bodies, as well as through the reciprocal relationship between Liga Portugal and its associates, as well as between them.

The latest review of the document took place in February 7, 2017.

It is mandatory for all participants in competitions organised by the Portuguese Professional Football League (Liga Portugal) to be informed of the applicable regulations.
