Leandro Antunes is the author of the Liga Portugal SABSEG Goal of the Month for September! The UD Leiria striker won the fans' vote and thus won the award for the period under review.

It was a moment of inspiration from the Portuguese striker who, following a free kick, controlled the ball with his chest inside the penalty area, unleashing a powerful right-footed shot that only ended up in the back of the net.

This brilliant finish took on even more significance as it helped UD Leiria to an important win (5-0) at the Estádio do Restelo against Belenenses in the fifth matchday of the competition.

Leandro Antunes' stunning goal was the most voted, beating off competition from Mesaque Djú (CD Mafra), Higor Platiny (Marítimo M.), Schutte (UD Oliveirense), Paulité (Leixões SC) and Maestro (SL Benfica B).
