Benny wins Player of the Month in Liga Portugal SABSEG

The AVS midfielder racked up the majority of the votes from the head coaches of the competition

The Liga Portugal SABSEG Player of the Month for August is AVS player, Benny.

The midfielder was one of the undisputed players in Jorge Costa's starting XI, having been fundamental in the Avenses' midfield in winning seven out of a possible nine points, adding also a goal to his record.

The Portuguese got 11.81 per cent of the votes from the competition's head coaches, beating Whelton's 6.94 per cent (SCU Torreense) and Jair Matheus' 6.25 per cent (UD Leiria).
