Diogo Costa named EuroBic Goalkeeper of the Month in Liga Portugal Betclic

The Portuguese international of FC Porto racked up the majority of the votes from the head coaches of the competition

FC Porto's Diogo Costa was awarded by the head coaches of Portuguese football's top flight as EuroBic Goalkeeper of the Month in the Liga Portugal Betclic for January.

The 24-year-old Portuguese international received 31.11 per cent of the votes, beating off competition from Trubin (SL Benfica), with 22.96 per cent, and Ricardo Velho (SC Farense), with 13.33 per cent.

In the four matches played during the period in question, the Dragons' goalkeeper started every match, having been beaten on just two occasions, contributing with 10 saves to the three wins and one draw achieved by the Blue and Whites.
