Rúben Amorim wins the Vítor Oliveira Award – Manager of the Month

The Sporting CP coach secured three triumphs during the month of December

The Liga Portugal Betclic head coaches have voted and the Vítor Oliveira - Manager of the Month Award for December goes to Rúben Amorim.

The Sporting CP coach led the current league leaders to three wins in four matches, beating Gil Vicente FC (3-1), FC Porto (2-0) and Portimonense (2-1).

Rúben Amorim got 31.62 per cent of the votes, finishing ahead of Daniel Sousa (FC Arouca) and Vasco Seabra (Estoril Praia), both with 16.24 per cent. The Arouca coach, however, finished in second place, having won three matches out of four, compared to two wins for the Canarinhos coach in the same number of games.

This is the second time this season that the Lions' coach has received this accolade, having won it in September.
