Paulinho wins the Liga Portugal Betclic MVP award for August

The Sporting CP striker adds the trophy to his Forward of the Month award

Sporting CP's striker Paulinho was voted MVP of the Liga Portugal Betclic for August after getting 14.29% of the votes from the competition's head coaches.

The 30-year-old, who was also named Forward of the Month, surpassed his teammate Gyökeres who came second in the list with 8.73% of the votes, while Bozeník, from Boavista FC, finished in third place with 7.94%.

During the period in question, in which Sporting CP won all three of their Liga Portugal Betclic matches, Paulinho scored four goals and played 198 minutes.
