Nené, Vilafranquense's striker, has been named Best Forward of the Month in the Liga Portugal SABSEG. In September, the 39 year old player, got 22.83% of the votes of the competition's top coaches.

The player of the team led by Rui Borges took part in three matches, against FC Porto B, SL Benfica B and SC Farense, scoring four goals.

In second place was Daniel dos Anjos (CD Tondela), with 18.90% of the votes, while Paulinho (Estrela Amadora) completed the podium with 17.32% of the votes.
