Abner has been elected for the Liga Portugal SABSEG Team of the Year

The 27-year-old left-back completed a remarkable season and made a contribution to the promotion of the Faro Lions

Abner, SC Farense's left-back, closes the defensive sector of the Liga Portugal SABSEG's Team of the Year.

The experienced Brazilian defender made 30 appearances and was used as a starting player in 26 games. Abner was in fact a mainstay for manager José Mota's defensive line, thus playing a decisive role in his team's promotion to the top tier of Portuguese football.

Born in the city of Londrina, the 27-year-old racked up 86 ball recoveries throughout the season, in addition to 56 duels won and also a goal scored against FC Penafiel, totalling 2609 minutes.
