Vasco Fernandes, Casa Pia AC's centre-back, won the award for Best Defender of the Month in Liga Portugal SABSEG, related to October/November.

The Portuguese centre-back racked up a total of 22,92% of the votes by the head coaches of the competition, thus surpassing Tomás Araújo (SL Benfica B), with 12,50%, and also Capela (FC Penafiel), who got 10,42%.

The experienced captain of the team under manager Filipe Martins played all six matches during this period, adding up four triumphs and two draws, having also scored a goal.
