Vitinha: “I'm living the dream”

The FC Porto player received both his March awards for Midfielder and Player of the Month in Liga Portugal bwin

Vitinha stood out once again during the month of March. The young FC Porto player won the midfielder and player of the month awards in the Liga Portugal bwin, after getting a total of 29.63% and 23.81%, respectively, of the votes from the main coaches of the competition.

When it was time to receive the awards, the Blue and White number 20 was pleased with the distinctions and did not forget to thank his teammates, as well as the competition's coaches.

"It's great to be able to win these awards again. I'm grateful to those who voted, in this case, the coaches. I especially want to thank the team, who help me every day so we can achieve these results and, consequently, these individual awards", he stressed.

With 23 games as a starting player in the FC Porto team, in 2021-22, in the Liga Portugal bwin, and being a talent that emerged from the Porto youth academy, Vitinha does not deny that he is in his breakthrough season in Portuguese football.
"I think there's no denying it, it's going very well, both individually and collectively. I'm living the dream, no doubt, and I just want to finish the season in the best way", he concluded.

In the vote for Player of the Month of Liga Portugal bwin, it should be remembered that the midfielder, born in Santo Tirso, won by a wide margin, having beaten the competition of his teammate Mehdi Taremi and Islam Slimani (Sporting CP), which closed the podium tied with 8.73% of the votes.
