The Santo Tirso-native played yet again a key role in the team's operations on the field, thus proving to be an essential asset in FC Porto's 100% winning record during this period.

In total, Vitinha got 19,74% of the votes from the head managers of the competition, thus surpassing the competition of his former teammate Luis Díaz (who has recently moved to Liverpool), with 16,45%, and Samuel Lino (Gil Vicente FC), who got the same percentage as the Colombian winger, with the number of minutes played being the decisive factor for the tie-braker.
