Pedro Proença present in the Liga Portugal Youth award ceremony

The President of Liga Portugal and the European Leagues attended the final and was present at the award ceremony that crowned Sporting CP

Sporting CP received the champions’ trophy for the 1st edition of Liga Portugal Youth from the President of Porto Football Association, with the presence Pedro Proença, President of Liga Portugal and the European Leagues. The international U-12 tournament was held from Friday to Sunday at the Estádio do Bessa Século XXI in Porto.

Sporting CP defeated FC Porto (4-3 on penalties) in the final.

For three days, Liga Portugal Youth celebrated youth football and Portuguese talent under the motto ‘The Talent That Will Mark the World,’ featuring top national and international teams: Boavista FC, FC Porto, SC Braga, SL Benfica, Sporting CP, Vitória SC, FC Barcelona (Spain), Real Betis Balompié (Spain), Sevilla FC (Spain), Fulham FC (England), Paris Saint-Germain (France), and VfB Stuttgart (Germany).

The competition, with free entry, also included a fan zone with plenty of entertainment, surprises, and prizes, as well as the presence of many well-known figures, including former players and Liga Portugal ambassadors.
