A superb finish from the halfway line earned the FC Arouca player the award

André Silva, the 24-year-old Brazilian forward, was the winner of the April Goal of the Month in Liga Portugal bwin, having got the most votes from fans and supporters of the competition:

"That goal was a defining moment for me. Of course, at that time it was beautiful, even the way we celebrated afterwards. We really needed the three points and that's why it was even more satisfying", said the Taboão da Serra (Brazil) native.

In the 59th minute, on Matchday 28 of the Liga Portugal bwin, against Gil Vicente FC, André Silva retrieved the ball, went forward a few meters and, still inside his defensive midfield, struck a powerful shot that only stopped in the opponent's goal.
