SC Braga are once again in the Allianz CUP final

SB Braga defeated SL Benfica by 2-1 and will face Sporting CP in the Allianz CUP final.

The team under manager Carlos Carvalhal opened the scoring through Abel Ruiz, who after being assisted by Ricardo Horta, headed into the back of the net in the 28th minute.

The Eagles leveled the match right before half-time, after the conversion of a penalty-kick by Pizzi.

However, the Minho Warriors would restore their lead in the second half, this time through Tormena. In the 59th minute, after yet another assist from Ricardo Horta, the defender scored the goal that would seal the triumph for SC Braga.

SC Braga will now try to win their second consecutive League Cup against Sporting CP.
